Depok, March 13, 2026 — The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI), held a thanksgiving event to commemorate its 11th Anniversary (Dies Natalis) along with a Ramadan iftar gathering attended by faculty leaders, lecturers, administrative staff, students, and the extended FIA UI community. The event served as a moment of reflection on the journey of FIA UI while also strengthening togetherness during the holy month of Ramadan.

The event began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, creating a solemn and reflective atmosphere. The program continued with remarks from the Chair of the Faculty Academic Senate, Prof. Dr. Irfan Ridwan Maksum, M.Si., the Chair of the Universitas Indonesia Professors Council, Prof. Eko Prasojo, Mag.rer.publ., and the Dean of FIA UI, Prof. Dr. Dra. Retno Kusumastuti Hardjono, M.Si., who expressed appreciation for the contributions of the entire academic community in supporting the growth and development of FIA UI as it reaches its 11th year.

On this occasion, the Dean of FIA UI conveyed hopes that FIA UI will continue to grow as an excellent educational institution that makes meaningful contributions to the nation, particularly in advancing impactful public governance.

As part of the program, the event also featured a Ramadan sermon (tausiah) delivered by Ustadz Haris Faisal, who encouraged participants to strengthen their gratitude and enhance their commitment to worship during the holy month of Ramadan.

The event also included the presentation of gift packages from the Student Executive Board (BEM) of FIA UI to the cleaning staff as a gesture of appreciation and solidarity within the FIA UI community.

The highlight of the celebration was the tumpeng-cutting ceremony, symbolizing gratitude for FIA UI’s 11-year journey. The ceremony involved faculty leaders, representatives of lecturers, administrative staff, and other members of the academic community.

Through this event, FIA UI hopes to further strengthen the values of togetherness, collaboration, and the shared spirit of making meaningful contributions to society and the nation.

The program concluded with a communal iftar, creating a warm moment for the entire FIA UI community to strengthen their bonds during the month of Ramadan.
