Depok, 27 November 2025 – The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI), together with the Innovation and Comparative Governance (ICG) Research Cluster through the Anti-Corruption and Governance course, organized Public Lecture Series 3 entitled “Anti-Corruption Strategy: Effective Way to Creating Clean Governance” as an effort to strengthen academic and practical understanding of corruption eradication strategies in government governance. The activity took place at the EDISI 2020 Auditorium, Building M, FIA UI.
Corruption remains a major challenge in realizing a clean, effective, and integrity-driven government. Amid the agenda of bureaucratic transformation and the enhancement of public accountability, anti-corruption strategies cannot rely solely on repressive approaches, but must also be supported by educational, collaborative, and sustainable measures.
This public lecture featured two key speakers who are directly involved in policy formulation and the implementation of the national anti-corruption agenda, namely Dr. Ir. Wawan Wardiana, M.T., Deputy for Education and Community Participation of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), and Suharti, S.Psi., M.Si., Deputy for Human Resource Development and Capacity Building (PSDM) of the National Public Procurement Agency (LKPP). Both speakers highlighted the importance of institutional synergy, public education, and human resource development as a strong foundation for building clean governance in Indonesia.
The interactive discussion provided space for students, academics, and practitioners to gain deeper insights into how anti-corruption strategies can be effectively implemented within the bureaucratic system. Participants were also encouraged to reflect on the role of the younger generation and future leaders in maintaining a culture of integrity in the public sector.
Through the organization of this public lecture, FIA UI reaffirmed its commitment to continuously contribute to the development of human resources with integrity and a strong orientation toward transparent and accountable governance. It is hoped that this activity will serve as a catalyst to strengthen the collective movement toward a corruption-free Indonesia.
