The academic staff of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI), has once again achieved remarkable success at the university level. Riska Nindi Trafanti, S.Sos., secured first place in the Academic category for Outstanding Academic Staff at Universitas Indonesia (UI) due to her contributions to the development and implementation of the Academic Administration Service Information System (SIPEDA).
“SIPEDA is a web-based system designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of academic administrative services at FIA UI. This system allows students to submit various administrative requests digitally, reducing processing time and minimizing potential errors and violations during the service process,” Riska explained.
According to Riska, SIPEDA was created in response to the need for more efficient public services, in line with the standards set by the Indonesian Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Regulation No. 19 of 2021 on Service Standards. The COVID-19 pandemic and the digital transformation era further accelerated the need for digital service innovations, making SIPEDA an effective solution to address the challenges of manual processes, such as the impracticality of submitting paper-based requests and the risk of archive accumulation.
Prof. Dr. Chandra Wijaya, M.Si., M.M., Dean of FIA UI, expressed pride in this achievement, considering it a tangible example of FIA UI’s commitment to continuous improvement across all levels—students, faculty, and staff—to enhance service quality. “I hope that other members of our academic community will follow Riska’s example and be inspired to achieve other outstanding accomplishments,” said Prof. Chandra.
Riska further highlighted that SIPEDA allows students to submit requests online anytime and anywhere, reducing the risk of corruption, collusion, and nepotism (KKN) while ensuring that data and archives are securely stored. The system’s speed and convenience have directly improved user satisfaction with the quality of services provided by FIA UI.

This platform offers specialized features for both students and administrative teams, facilitating a smoother and more efficient digital document submission and processing experience,” she explained.
Through SIPEDA, FIA UI has successfully:
