March 18, 2025 – In an effort to increase understanding of risk management, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, University of Indonesia (FIA UI) conducted a socialization by inviting the resource person for the Head of the Risk Management Section of the University of Indonesia, Harinda Perdana Sari, ERMCP, CROP. The event was held in the smart class room of Building M 3rd Floor, FIA UI Campus, Depok.

Risk is uncertainty that has an impact on goals. Meanwhile, risk management is an action in identifying inherent risks in a planned and measured manner, and preparing various approaches to control them.

Harinda explained that the risk management framework starts from design, implementation, evaluation, improvement, to integration.

In measuring risks, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) can also be used through identification, assessment, response, monitoring, and reporting.

“ERM helps UI achieve its strategic plan by ensuring that every risk is managed in a comprehensive and integrated manner to enhance performance,” Harinda said in her presentation.

Harinda also said that risk will always be inherent at every level of a structural organization.

“It is hoped that the Faculty can better understand risk management, and this meeting can add insight for you about the importance of risk management,” said Dr. Umanto, as Head of the Dean Office.

This activity went smoothly and interactively, followed by a question and answer session after the presentation, and closed with a group photo.
