DEPOK. In supporting student participation in the Student Creativity Program (PKM), the Faculty of Administrative Sciences Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI) held a PKM Socialization on Friday (28/9). The PKM socialization was opened by the representative of the Dean of FIA UI, Prof. Dr. Haula Rosdiana, M.Sc.

The agenda held at the Auditorium of the M building was divided into 2 sessions. The first session, presenting the Head of Sub-Directorate for Student Reasoning UI, Dr. Ing. Mohammad Adhitya, M.Sc. He discussed the intricacies of PKM and the stages up to the National Scientific Week (PIMNAS).

The second session was filled by FIA UI lecturers, Dr. Lina Miftahul Jannah, S.Sos, M.Sc. PKM National Reviewer is conveying tips and tricks to join PKM and its experience in selecting PIMNAS proposals. Lina said that UI was the first to host PKM but still lost in participating in PKM. “The results of the kmn do not have to have a big impact but can be a solution for others who use it,” said Lina. After that, PKM was assessed not only from good activities but also from writing proposals that were right according to the rules.

The Student Creativity Program (PKM) is a program of the Directorate General of Higher Education which was launched since 2001. PKM is a forum for students to study, explore and apply the knowledge they have learned in lectures to the wider community. PKM has 7 fields, which are generally separated into PKM 5 fields and PKM 2 fields.

PKM 5 fields consist of PKM-Research (PKM-P), PKM-Community Service (PKM-M), PKM-Entrepreneurship (PKM-K), PKM-Application of Technology (PKM-T), and PKM-Karsa Cipta ( PKM-KC). The end of PKM 5 This field will be competed on a national scale PIMNAS competition. In addition there are PKM 2 fields which consist of Scientific Articles (PKM-AI) and Written Ideas (PKM-GT). (EM)
