The big family of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI) celebrated the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia with a series of exciting competitions in the Dekan Cup, including table tennis, badminton, and futsal. The event was enlivened by the participation of the entire FIA UI academic community, including students, lecturers, and administrative staff.

The celebrations began on August 12, 2023, and culminated in the main event on August 22, 2024. The table tennis, badminton, and futsal competitions ran from August 12 to August 21, 2024.

The peak event on August 22, 2024, featured traditional “17an” games such as the cracker-eating contest, marble relay, and flour relay, which brought joy and laughter to the participants.

Prof. Dr. Chandra emphasized that the event served as a platform to unite all elements of the academic community, fostering friendship and togetherness that will positively impact the faculty’s performance.

“Through this event, I hope we continue to strengthen our solidarity to achieve shared goals by applying FIA’s core values: KITA (Commitment, Innovation, Transformation, and Integrity). Congratulations to all the winners, and may you maintain your spirit to make FIA UI even better,” said Prof. Chandra.
