Depok, October 9, 2024 – In an effort to achieve the Integrity Zone of Corruption-Free Area (ZI WBK) and Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM), the Faculty of Administrative Sciences (FIA) at Universitas Indonesia (UI) welcomed an assessment visit from the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) today. The event, held at the Smart Class, 3rd Floor, M Building, FIA UI Campus, Depok, aimed to evaluate the steps taken by FIA to foster integrity and high-quality public service.
“ZI WBK/WBBM is a vision we must achieve to enhance service quality for students, the public, and all stakeholders. Even if we do not win the title, our commitment to building the Integrity Zone will continue,” said Prof. Dr. Chandra Wijaya, M.Si., M.M., Dean of FIA UI.
During the assessment, evaluators from PANRB raised several questions, including FIA’s efforts to prevent plagiarism in the face of technological advancements such as AI usage. Dr. Kusnarbudi, M.Buss., Head of the Academic Quality Assurance Unit and Internal Supervisory Unit (UPMA & SPI), explained that FIA UI has proactively implemented a code of ethics, conducted outreach to students and lecturers, and monitored violations to prevent plagiarism.
The assessment also focused on integrity in the learning process and student admissions. “The student admission process is conducted transparently, without external interference, and we consistently take preventive measures to avoid conflicts of interest,” said Prof. Dr. Chandra.
Dr. Umanto, M.Si., Faculty Secretary, added, “FIA UI is always committed to improving the quality of academic services and student satisfaction. We regularly conduct surveys and implement a strict monitoring system for student services. ZI WBK/WBBM is a vision we must pursue to enhance service quality for students and society.”
FIA UI hopes the assessment results will strengthen the faculty’s commitment to creating a clean and service-oriented bureaucracy and foster closer collaboration with PANRB.
