dr. Novita Ikasari, M.Comm., Ph.D. as Chair of the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Administrative Science, University of Indonesia (FIA UI) was elected as General Chair of the Association of Indonesian Business Administration (AIABI) for the 2022-2026 period at the National Congress and Seminar held in Malang, 26-27 July 2022.

Novita was elected as chairperson through a meeting attended by delegates from 81 educational institutions throughout Indonesia that have a Business Administration study program.

With her new mandate, Novita hopes that in the future AIABI will become a hub for the development of business administration knowledge in responding to various challenges faced by the industry and at the same time contributing to the people, nation and State of Indonesia. With the strength and support of all Members, AIABI’s name will be increasingly known.

Dean of FIA UI Prof. Dr. Chandra Wijaya, M.Sc., MM. revealed that with the election of Novita as chairman of AIABI, FIA UI is ready to support 100% of AIABI as the association and Novita as chairman.

It is known, before the chairman election agenda, the 5th congress which has been held by the association which was established in 2008 also held a National Seminar with the theme ‘Post-Covid-19 Business Transformation and Sustainability’.
