Today journals are faced with the digital era. Starting in 2016, one of the requirements for an accredited journal is the scientific process, its accuracy and management using the OJS (Open Journal System) application. Manuscript management activities for articles to be published in journals starting from receipt, editing and layout that are ready to be published must use the OJS system.

JBB is a scientific journal that publishes original articles on current knowledge, pure research and applied other developments in the fields of administration and policy in the public sector, business, and tax. This journal provides a forum for the publication of research results and sharing knowledge and scientific development in their respective fields. JBB has been around since 1993 and has been published three times a year (January, May, September).

JBB targets to be able to maintain this national accreditation while trying to be recognized internationally by maintaining its index in ProQuest, ASEAN Citation Index, Google Scholar, and increasing it to the Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ) and leading to Scopus. For this reason, according to the Head of the Center for Management, Public and Business Policy Studies, FIA UI, Novita Ikasari, awareness of journal management must be improved “Currently journal management is a necessity in the field of academic dissemination but there is still a lack of awareness in the environment of higher education institutions in general” said Novita. In between, he also thanked the FIA Leaders for giving support and to the Office of Research and Innovation Product Management at UI, KPPRI who had helped JBB in processing accreditation using the Ministry of Research and Technology’s National Journal of Accreditation (ARJUNA).

The journal shows the development of current knowledge and the ability of the faculty to manage science. Managing Editor of JBB, Defny Holidin, stated that this accreditation was a test of credibility and important for FIA as one of the criteria for faculty accreditation. “As a scientific representation of a faculty, a journal is an institution’s self-esteem,” he said.

It is known, the accreditation period obtained by JBB is valid until 2021. This accreditation is a form of renewal after previously accredited for 2014-2019. (EM)[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
