The Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Science Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI), Prof. Dr. Eko Prasojo, Mag. rer. publ., gave a presentation in the Asia- Pacific Research in Social Sciences and Humanities (APRISH) conference titled “Building Trust in Achieving SDGs: Strenghtening Innovation, Prioritization, infromed decision making, and integration of Policy Development process for enhanced Impact” in the Main Auditorium of the Margo Hotel, Depok (27/9/17)

At the time of the conference, Prof. Dr. Vedi Hadiz held a meeting with the Dean of FIA UI, Dr. Eko Prasojo, Mag. rer. publ. In the meeting, they discussed the exploration of cooperation for the implementation of the double masters degree study program with the University of Melbourne especially in the field of public policy, tax administration and collaborative research with the Asia institute, at the University of Melbourne.

Aside from that, the meeting also discusses the possibility of Prof. Vedi’s involvement in becoming the board of international editors for FIA UI’s academic international Journal which will be published in the coming times. To increase the amount of articles published in this reputable international journal and indexed in scopus by FIA UI lecturers, in the meeting they also explored at a writing workshop which was held with an intensive mentoring approach from senior lecturers at the University of Melbourne for FIA UI lecturers.

Aside from Prof. Dr. Eko Prasojo, Mag. rer. publ., Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Drechsler from Harvard University and Prof. Dr. Felix Mavondo from Monash University also attended this conference as a plenary speaker

It is known that this conference is attended by more than 500 lecturers of the Faculty of Social Humanitites from all around Indonesia. (VJ)
