FIA UI and the Victoria University of Wellington Launches the Double Master Degree in E- Government Program

The Double Master Degree Program will officially be open for prospective students who wants to study in the field of E- Government in two different campuses.

The Dean of FIA UI, Prof. Dr. Eko Prasojo explained that the curriculum of this program is arranged based on the trimester system, where on the first trimester, students will learn in FIA UI and the second and third trimester they will continue their learning in VUW.

“ While on the fourth trimester, the students will come back to FIA UI to apply their experience and knowledge in the final problem,” explained Prof. Eko in the Soft Launch event for the Double Degree Master Program between FIA UI and VUW in the Juwono Sudarsono Auditorium in FISIP UI, Tuesday (20/2/18).

Aside from that, Prof. Eko, who has a hobby of traveling to historical cities, is also optimistic that the graduates that came from this Double Degree program will become a competent human resource.

“ I am optimistic that the graduates of this program will be able to design an e-government system which is qualified, applying and transferring the knowledge of e- government to all parts of the public sector and leading the change while also managing its implications for the public sector, “ said Prof. Eko.

It is known that this program is officially open since 2018/2019 school year, with a study duration of two years, students will be able to gain two academic degrees given by two universities which is a Masters of Administrative Science (M.A) and a Masters of Government (MEGov). (DS)
