The writing of policy papers is needed as a basis for making evidence-based policies for various positions in the ASN so that the policies made are expected to be of wider use.

Therefore, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, University of Indonesia (FIA UI) through the Special Work Unit (UKK) of the Institute for the Study and Application of Administrative Sciences (LPPIA) held an Executive Development Program: Writing Policy Papers for State Civil Apparatus (ASN) within the Directorate General of Spatial Planning of the Ministry Agrarian and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (DJTR Ministry of ATR/BPN) offline at Sheraton Grand Design Gandaria on Thursday (23/6/22).

Secretary of DJTR Ministry of ATR/BPN Farid Hidayat, S.T., M.T. in his speech emphasized that this training is expected to increase competence for policy strengthening, especially in land rights certificates. “The provision of preparing this policy paper will help us in terms of institutions and governance of land policies in Indonesia,” he said.

In line with what was conveyed by Farid, Deputy Dean for Resources, Ventures, and General Administration, Dr. Milla Sepliana Setyowati, M.Ak., CA. also as the Head of LPPIA added that policy papers are not only needed by academics but also practitioners and state civil servants.

“We at LPPIA have been trusted by various ministries and institutions to organize various trainings and studies, so we hope that this collaboration can continue,” he said.

It is known that the resource persons in this training are Dr. phil. Reza Fathurrahman, MPP as Secretary of the Postgraduate Program and Dr. Teguh Kurniawan, M.Sc. as Head of the Department of Public Administration.

Also present at this meeting were Gandiwa Yudhistira, S.H as the Head of Civil Service Law, and Ortala and Mrs. Ranti Marinda as the organizers.
