Depok, August 15, 2024 – Embedding FIA values plays a crucial role in shaping students into individuals who uphold integrity and maintain professionalism. By promoting the core values of commitment, integrity, transformation, and trustworthiness, students are prepared to enter the professional world with strong principles, fostering a clean and professional environment while strengthening the academic reputation of the institution.

In line with this vision, the Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI), Prof. Dr. Chandra Wijaya, M.Si., M.M., instilled the FIA UI values and the implementation of the Integrity Zone development towards the Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) and the Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Zone (WBBM) to 520 new students of the 2024 cohort.

“New students must uphold integrity. This means maintaining consistent behavior, valuing honesty, adhering to ethical principles, and always following the applicable rules and regulations,” said Prof. Dr. Chandra.

According to Prof. Dr. Chandra, this aligns with FIA UI’s ongoing efforts to establish the Integrity Zone towards WBK and WBBM, aimed at creating a clean, transparent, and accountable academic environment.

“Our goal is to ensure FIA UI consistently provides the best service to all stakeholders while collectively fostering a culture of integrity,” he emphasized.

These remarks were delivered by the FIA UI Dean during the Faculty Academic System Introduction (PSAF) and Basic Leadership Management Training held on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at the Auditorium of the New FIA UI Building.

Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Chandra stressed the importance of compliance with both academic and non-academic regulations at Universitas Indonesia and the Faculty of Administrative Sciences. He reminded the students that understanding and applying these academic guidelines would assist them in graduating on time while achieving outstanding accomplishments.

“The spirit of FIA UI’s new students to excel academically and non-academically, whether at local, national, or international levels, relies on several key attitudes: enthusiasm, motivation, perseverance, initiative, and creativity—qualities cultivated throughout their learning journey at FIA UI,” he added.

The event was also attended by key figures from the faculty, including the Chair of the Academic Senate of FIA UI, Dr. Ning Rahayu, M.Si., and the Chair of the Faculty Professors Council, Prof. Dr. Amy Yayuk Sri Rahayu, M.Si. Additionally, members of FIA UI’s managerial team were present, including the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Research, and Student Affairs, Dr. Fibria Indriati, M.Si.; the Vice Dean for Resources, Ventures, and General Administration, Dr. Milla Sepliana Setyowati, M.Ak.; the Faculty Secretary, Dr. Umanto, M.Si.; and the Head of Quality Assurance, Internal Control, and Accreditation, Drs.
