Vice Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs Dr. Fibria Indriati, M.Sc. started the Yudisium for FIA UI Graduates Odd Semester 2021/2022 (28/1) by submitting a graduation data report, that in the odd semester of the 2021-2022 academic year, FIA UI graduated 115 undergraduate program graduates, 35 master program graduates, and 3 doctoral program graduates . This result is not much different from the achievement of graduates in the last Even Semester, making more than 50% of graduates cum laude predicate.

“As for these graduates, 76 graduates graduated with cum laude predicate, 74 graduates with very satisfactory predicate, and 3 people with satisfactory predicate, bringing the total number of graduates to 153 people,” said Indri.

After that, Dr. Ning Rahayu, M. Si., as the chairman of the Faculty’s Academic Senate welcomed all graduates while giving the message that the challenges for FIA UI graduates are related to the world of work during the COVID-19 pandemic and the importance of creativity and collaboration principles to be the basis for graduates to be able to create jobs. alone.

“For FIA UI graduates, what is very challenging at this time during the Pandemic is in the world of work, so it is necessary to adhere to the principles of creativity and collaboration. Take care of the network that has been built, you should not be busy looking for work but be innovative to be able to create your own jobs, so you don’t depend on existing jobs,” Ning said.

Next, the Head of DGBF, Prof. Dr. Amy Sri Rahayu, M.Sc., also expressed her appreciation for all graduates and all graduates are expected to maintain principles and ethics as FIA UI graduates who are proud when they enter the community.

In his next speech, the Dean of FIA UI Prof. Dr. Chandra Wijaya, M.Sc., M.M., also expressed his appreciation and congratulations to 153 graduates. In addition, the dean of FIA UI also conveyed four important expectations to graduates.

“I hope that graduates can give their best work to their families, nations and countries in accordance with their respective scientific fields. In addition, graduates are expected not only to become job seekers but also to become job creators who are beneficial to others. Third, after holding the status as an FIA UI Alumni, graduates can give back to the alma mater in the form of reviews and input to FIA UI in the implementation of tracer studies and assessments by alumni work leaders. And lastly, graduates can continue to improve their competence and competitiveness by continuing to learn. Because learning activities are lifelong activities to be able to increase existing competitiveness,” said the Dean of FIA UI.

On this occasion, policies related to privilege were also presented for alumni who graduated with cum laude predicate and outstanding graduates. Especially for S1 graduates, they can continue their studies to the Masters level at FIA UI without having to take both TOEFL and TPA exams but still have to register at SIMAK UI. In addition, there is also a 50% discount from the existing base fee.

Finally, the Chair of the FIA ​​UI Alumni Association (Iluni) Dra. Sita Dewanto symbolically welcomed the members of ILUNI FIA UI, as well as congratulated the graduates and gave a message to be able to actively contribute to ILUNI FIA UI and make the name of the Alma mater proud.
